Kazimierz - Ghetto - Eagle Pharmacy

Explore Kraków’s Polish and Jewish heritage connecting to WWII history. Walk through Kazimierz, the former Ghetto and Eagle Pharmacy Museum with a passionate guide on this powerful journey.

About this tour

Our tour begins in the heart of Krakow’s Kazimierz district, where Jewish and Christian communities have lived in symbiosis for centuries. Walk through the narrow streets, discovering fascinating stories, tales of the past and a living cultural heritage.

Then, across the historic Piłsudski Bridge, we will head to the former ghetto, established by the Germans for the Jewish community. Here, we will visit the extraordinary Pharmacy, which operated here during the German occupation and is now a museum dedicated to the history of the Krakow ghetto and its inhabitants. Walking through the streets of the former ghetto, we will see, among other things, the remains of the ghetto wall, talk about everyday struggles and acts of defiance. At the Bohaterów Getta Square, we will commemorate those who suffered and died in this place.
